Description

The Janome HD9 Professional V2 is built for sewists who want industrial-level speed, power, and precision in a machine designed for home studios and creative workspaces. Whether you're sewing garments, bag making, quilting, canvas projects, leather goods, or heavy-duty seams, the HD9 V2 is designed to keep up with serious sewing.

With speeds up to 1,600 stitches per minute, the HD9 V2 is one of the fastest home-use sewing machines available. But speed is only part of the story — this machine is also incredibly smooth, stable, and quiet thanks to Janome’s all-metal construction and eight enclosed ball bearings built into the main shaft.

The HD9 V2 is a straight stitch machine loved by apparel sewists, quilters, bag makers, and makers who regularly sew through thicker materials like denim, cork, waxed canvas, webbing, and leather. The Heavy Weight Thread Guide improves tension control when working with heavier threads, making beautiful topstitching and professional finishes easier to achieve.

A side-loading jumbo metal bobbin holds 40% more thread than standard bobbins, helping reduce interruptions during large projects and long seams. The independent bobbin winding motor allows you to wind bobbins while continuing to sew — a feature many production sewists quickly fall in love with.

We especially love the HD9 V2 for makers looking for that “buy your machine once” experience. It has the strength and feel of an industrial-style machine while still offering thoughtful home sewing features like:

  • Automatic thread cutting
  • Needle up/down control
  • Speed control slider
  • Bright LED lighting
  • Adjustable presser foot pressure
  • Knee lifter
  • Large workspace for quilts and oversized projects

The extra-large flatbed workspace and shadow-free LED lighting make this machine ideal for quilting, garment sewing, bag construction, and precision topstitching.

If you've been frustrated by entry-level “heavy duty” machines struggling with thick seams, inconsistent stitches, or vibration at high speeds, the Janome HD9 Professional V2 is in an entirely different category.

Why We Love it

Are your fabrics sold by the yard or half yard?

Everything's sold by the yard with a few exceptions.  Certain Ribbing & Quilting Cottons are sold by the half yard (but this is stated in the title).

What is your order processing time?

As of Feb 20th, we're zipping through orders in 2-4 business days! 🚀 Please be patient with fabric bundles though, these do take us just a little be longer since they are curated specially for you.

Just a heads up, though - during the holiday frenzy or after a mega sale like Black Friday, it might take up to 10 business days. We're on it, though, aiming to get those gorgeous fabrics in your hands within 5 days!

Do you Combine Shipping?

Absolutely! Place any orders within 3 business days of each other, and we'll snug them together. If they're further apart, just shoot us an email at bohofabrics@gmail.com, and we'll see what we can do. Any shipping overages will come back to you as a Boho Giftcard. 🎁

Do you Refund Shipping Overages?

Great News!  We now offer FREE SHIPPING for all orders over $175 within the Contiguous USA!  If your order is less than $175, we offer flat rate shipping for $12.95.  Due to our new Flat Rate Shipping policy, we do not refund shipping overages.

Can I cancel my order?

You bet, as long as we haven't printed that shipping label. We'll refund your order minus a 5% fee.

How much is Shipping?

For orders over $175, shipping's on us within the Contiguous USA! Orders under $175 have a flat rate of $12.95. Really big orders might need to bypass PO Boxes and head straight to a traditional address via UPS or FedEx.

*Excludes Shipping to PO Boxes, Alaska, Hawaii & Puerto Rico. Shipping overages will be invoiced to customers for packages being shipped to those regions.

What is your Return Policy?

Gotcha covered! If the fabric isn't quite what you envisioned, send it back within 14 days of receiving it, uncut and unwashed, for a refund

Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable as this is a cost incurred and not refunded to us by the carriers.

We recommend obtaining tracking for any returns you send as well as sending us an email so that we can be on alert for the package (and to process your return faster!)

Please send returns to:

Boho Fabrics LLC

14600 York Road, Suite J

Sparks, MD 21152

For any issues with quality or damaged fabric, please send an email to bohofabrics@gmail.com so that we can work on a resolution for you.

Do you offer local pickup?

Of course!  Select Pick-Up at check-out and we will send you an email/pick-up notification once it's ready.

Do you offer International Shipping?

Worldwide, baby! 🌍 Email us for a quote. It's a bit pricier, but we'll make sure you get the best rate possible. Just a note: Special deals including shipping might have extra charges for international orders.

* These are flat-rate equivalent estimates.  If fabric does not fit into the USPS Flat Rate boxes, customers will be billed shipping overages before their order ships.
